This is my go-to flashlight! I purchased the blue version, and it’s a stunning color with excellent build quality. My only issue is not being able to tell when it’s charging. When I connect the magnetic charger, the indicator light stays green instead of turning red, so I’m unsure if it’s charging or if the battery just lasts a long time. I assume it’s charging because the battery has yet to run low. Other than that, it’s a fantastic flashlight. It’s incredibly bright, with three brightness levels accessible via the side button, a powerful Turbo mode for short bursts using the bottom button, and a flashing strobe mode. The magnetic base is also convenient for sticking to surfaces while using the light hands-free. Olight is my top choice for flashlights, and I highly recommend this one!

This flashlight is an impressive little device, perfect for everyday carry (EDC). It features ideal brightness levels, with a moonlight mode that’s dim enough to avoid blinding you when needed. In contrast, the turbo mode is so bright it will turn heads, even from those unfamiliar with flashlights. The user interface is straightforward, making it easy to operate and the combination of a side switch and tail switch adds versatility.
Having carried an AAA-sized flashlight for years, I was initially concerned that this one might be too bulky for EDC. However, it’s surprisingly comfortable in my pocket, and the output is significantly brighter than my previous light. Although the battery is proprietary and requires the included magnetic charging cable, both the battery and charging method work efficiently.
While the light output leans towards the cooler side, it remains incredibly bright. My only major issue is that, right out of the box, the flashlight can only be carried bezel-up, which I dislike. I reached out to Olight Support, who were friendly and responsive. They promptly sent me a pocket clip adapter at no extra charge, allowing me to carry the light bezel-down. Just remember to use the lockout feature, as it can get quite hot. I would absolutely purchase this flashlight again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable EDC light. You won’t be disappointed!

After carrying a much larger flashlight for the past five years, I recently began searching for a better option and received multiple recommendations for Olight, along with one other brand. This flashlight boasts numerous impressive features, including a moonlight mode that’s ideal for navigating very dark areas. The power button located on the base of the light is incredibly convenient, and I appreciate its compact size and pocket clip, which makes it easy to carry.
However, one downside is the charging method. It would be great if manufacturers could standardize on USB-C instead of proprietary cables. While this isn’t a deal breaker, it’s important to note that this flashlight will require its own charging cable, which can be a hassle. Overall, despite this minor inconvenience, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks, making this Olight flashlight a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their EDC gear.
